Halloween

Ok so we are lame and did't have time or money to find a costume plus we had nowhere to go, therefore no halloween pictures =(. Halloween is my favorite holiday and fall is my favorite season so we still have done a lot of fun things! =) The weekend before Halloween we went to Castle of Chaos with our friends Gloria and Mike. It was really fun and I haven't been to a haunted house in about five years! I was a scared baby the whole time holding Cole's hand and making him stay behind me. He did let one of the guys get a good scare out of me though! I lost Cole somewhere between rooms and I heard this loud thumping and I said what the heck is that noise?! I turned around and Cole was gone and this scary guy came out of nowhere and breathed right on me "it's me!" Scared the crap out of me and I screamed and Cole just started laughing. I can't blame him though cause I would've done the same thing if I had the chance lol! Mike was a good sport and went first through the whole thing so me and Gloria didn't have to.

St. George!

so we are taking a little vacation to st George this weekend before school starts next week and I am so excited! we have never been to zion national park and we are going to spend a day there. I also get to stay with my sisters all weekend! I miss them so much and I am here by myself now since they both live there. and I get to see my adorable niece! she is getting big way too fast, she'll be one in September. I am also ready to swim and soak up some much needed sun. I am also excited to finally get my hair done while Im down there! It has been so neglected the last few months because of school. and of course we are going to go to mesquite and play bingo! its so fun we go everytime were down there.

Cole in the mini golf room

So I was in Ross just killing a little bit of time and I saw this lamp! (It is the square thing on the right) I just had to have it because it matched perfectly! Tourquise and brown and it was the exact size of lamp I was looking for to put up there. I love the style cause it is so different it doesn't even look like a lamp but has the perfect amount of soft light. Funny how you can spend so long looking for something and then when you give up you randomly find it when your not looking. And it was only 10 bucks, can't beat that! Oh how I love Ross (and tj maxx) !

Ok I know July is half over but I finally had time to finish the July calendar!

So on Monday there was no work (yay for weekend holidays!) So we went to the petting zoo at thanksgiving point with Coles sisters, mom and niece and nephew. I've never been there and it was pretty fun! I only took one pic that's how lame I am at taking pictures. We thought this cow bench was pretty awesome :)

I just want to say how excited I am to get this today! I have been waiting 3 weeks ever since I got the $1 sample lotion. I absolutely love this fragrance and I have never been too obsessed with any fragrances at bath.and body before until this one! After work I am headed straight there ...then I'll work on some homework :)

Ok can I just say how tired I am of school? I don't want to complain but I never have time for anything else! Yesterday for example I wake up leave for work quartet after 7 and get off at 1. I come home let the dogs out, try and do a load of laundry and sit down and try and do homework. Then its 430 before I know it. I leave for my 5 oclock class and don't get out until 8. Then if I don't have more homework due the next day I go to the gym with Cole. Last night we didn't get to the gym until 9 and then got home at 10:30 so then I have to shower try and do some dishes/ cleanup and then make some kind of food/dinner to eat, don't go to bed until 1230 ish and then start all over agian the next day! I know this is partly because I am taking full time credit hours during summer semester (never doing it again) but how am I even supposed to have time for anything else? Grocery shopping, putting laundry away, running odd and end errands, cleaning, etc. Pm just thankful I don't have kids yet! That sounds bad to say but I won't be ready until I'm 30! I want to be selfish and have my husband all to myself and live my 20's with him and just have fun together until are ready to be unselfish. Anyways, school better be so worth it because I still have 21/2 years left! I'm just praying I make it through them. I am so excited to be a teacher but I just wish I could start now and not have to have so much schooling lol! I will say I am so greatful that Cole and I are taking 2 of our classes together Monday through Thursday nights. It is really the only time I get to see him and spend time with each other. I love that our weekends and nights are spent helping each other with math homework and doing the same problems and writing papers and doing projects together for our humanities class. On another side note why do I have to take 3 math classes to be an EL ED teacher!? I will never be teaching my kids the quadratic, logahrhythms, exponential, etc.! I could see the sense for a middle or high school but elementary? Oh well I guess I have to do what I have to. Well longest post ever sorry for the vent just feeling overwhelmed and stressed. PS so happy summer is here and its warm yay! And so excited for the fourth this weekend!

Ah she is just so dang cute! I want to keep her too and Cole is definately no help cause he wants her too!

Last puppy left of the litter! She is so cute and I'm already getting attached! Cole wants to keep her so bad and not sell her but I keep telling him no. I don't think I could handle 3 dogs! Especially 2 of them being bulldogs in our smallish townhome. But its so tempting... she is so darn cute! And she is the perfect English bulldog very short very wide tons of wrinkles big most rope flat face and a huge head!

Ok I know I'm really late but this is the calendar for June. You can't tell in the picture but this paper is sparklely! It so cute and totally reminds me of summer I love it!

Can I  just tell you how excited I am for July!? Fourth of July is my next favorite holiday (with Halloween being first :)  ) I love the barbecuing, fireworks, parades, fairs, swimming, and everything in-between! The only downer is that I took on too many classes this summer not coming to reality how much harder they really are! Never again will I take 14 c.h. in a summer semester! So hopefully I will still get to enjoy my fav holiday and month! So excited!

Our English Bulldog Bella just had puppies so I wanted to share a few of my favorite pictures!

My sister Brenna and her husband Matt came up on Monday for a short visit and left Tuesday. I miss them so much and just wish they would move up here! Although the short vacations to st George are fun for us :-)  here is a pic of Brenna and her baby Marsielle (my niece) I can't believe how big she is getting!

Wow my mom has been gone for 15 years now. It doesn't get easier as time goes on and I'm sure it never will. I wish she could have stayed longer so I could have known her better. Mothers day is always hard but it is so comforting having the knowledge of the plan if salvation and knowing I'll see her again! I love you mom! Happy Mother's Day!

Here is May's calendar

Me and my little sis. I love my sisters! I know heavenly father gave me sisters because he knew we would not have are mom here with us. I love my sisters and don't know what I would do without them! :)

So I was in 7-11 the other day and they have these awesome Ironman cups so I just had to get one! I am doing better in my diet coke and diet Pepsi intake didn't have one all day yesterday! So anyways I find that I drink a lot more water if I use a cup like this with a straw and just fill it up with ice water. Turn a habit of Pepsi into water :) I am so excited to see Ironman 2 ( I love Robert Downey) and it comes out just in time for my birthday!

So I was in Roberts the other day and saw a blank dry erase calendar on one of the end caps. I got an idea to make this when I saw it! I couldn't find a12x12 picture matt I had in mind so I had to buy the big blank matting and cut it myself (which is why the sides aren't very straight) then I taped the dry erase calendar to the back. So every month I just change out the backgroun(with one of my thousands of pieces or scrapbook paper) and write the new number and its a new monthly calendar! I also use my cricket to make the month names and attach with tape and make any other shape or picture to go along with the theme of the month! My mother in law had the cute idea to use the ribbon to hang it from.

So I have been teaching myself how to do UV gel nails and here is my first set! Not too bad... I would like to take nail classes and be a nail tech but don't have the time or especially the money right now! I guess ill have to wait
